IOMED was one of the sponsors of PyDay BCN, an event full of Python-related workshops and activities for the Python community, held last November 11th at the University of Barcelona (UB).

PyDay BCN 2023 featured hands-on workshops on topics such as data science, web development, security, where participants learned how to use different tools and techniques.

The co-founder and CTO of IOMED, Gabriel Maeztu, was in charge of giving the attractive workshop called 'Augmented Generation Retrieval from scratch'. In this symposium he explained to data scientists, NLP professionals and engineers interested in cutting-edge NLP techniques how to build an augmented generation retrieval model from scratch.

In addition, IOMED had its own stand at this event where many attendees came to learn more about our technology.

During these seven editions, PyDay has become a great opportunity to share our relationship with Python and involve users, companies, and newcomers.
