IOMED participated in the training day 'Innovation Day' organized by the Health Living Lab Son Espases. It took place on May 31 in the auditorium of the Hospital Universitari Son Espases.

One of the topics addressed during the day was the integration of emerging technologies in healthcare. Antonio Martí Polo, Business Development Director of IOMED, participated in this debate where he presented the improvements in patient care in hospital environments thanks to the implementation of IOMED's technology based on artificial intelligence.

He also analyzed the changes and benefits that this integration has brought to medical practice. He shared the panel with Redal Britel and Muntaner, innovative physicians from the radiology unit of HUSE; Eugenio Cutolo CEO of InformIA, Xiosco Tous eHealth coordinator of Fundació BIT, and Antonio José Moreno Rojas, project development coordinator of IBSalut.

On the other hand, Josep Cordón, Product Manager at IOMED, delivered a workshop on the Benefits of using Real-world Data in Clinical Research at the event. During his session, he highlighted the significant benefits of using real-world data in clinical research, demonstrating how IOMED's AI-based technology and the OMOP CDM can unlock the full potential of these data to accelerate treatment development, optimize decision-making, and improve patient outcomes.
