CB Insights has included IOMED, a leader in Artificial Intelligence applied to healthcare data, in its annual Digital Health 50 list, which showcases the 50 most promising private digital health companies of 2023.

The CB Insights Digital Health 50 of 2023 honorees were selected from a pool of more than 10,000 companies, including candidates and nominees. Several factors were considered in the selection process, including CB Insights datasets covering R&D activity, Mosaic scores, business relationships, software buyer transcripts, investor profiles, news sentiment analysis, competitive landscape, and team strength, along with criteria such as technological novelty, market potential and industry impact.

"IOMED is very pleased to be included in the CB Insights Digital Health 50 list alongside other companies committed to new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to transform and improve the healthcare ecosystem," says Javier de Oca, co-Founder and CEO of IOMED.

IOMED is known for the activation of clinical data thanks to its Artificial Intelligence technology.Its natural language processing system is able to normalize structured and unstructured healthcare data, bringing added value to healthcare organizations, enabling them to understand large amounts of information, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve patient care and hospital outcomes.

This year's winners represent 8 countries from around the world. 22% are based outside the US, including 3 from the UK, 2 from Israel and 2 from Spain. Other countries represented include South Korea, Belgium, France and Brazil.
