IOMED proudly participated in the EHDEN Symposium held on October 9-10, 2024, in Barcelona, celebrating the success of the EHDEN IHI 2 project and its transition to the EHDEN Foundation. This two-day event brought together 150 key stakeholders from across the European health data landscape, including consortium members, data partners, and SMEs from the open science community.

As a strategic ally for innovation and research, IOMED plays a crucial role as a Data Space Mediator, fostering a community-driven approach to health data management.

Our partnership empowers hospitals and research institutions to engage in multicentric research projects, optimizing efficiency and improving patient care. With over 21 million patient records and participation in 40+ research projects, IOMED continues to enhance the capacity for health data utilization, ensuring compliance and advancing collaborative research.

A heartfelt thank you to EHDEN for this incredible opportunity and to everyone involved in making the event impactful. Together, we are paving the way for a robust European Health Data Space (EHDS) through collaboration and innovation.
